Straightening teeth now may not require the need for unattractive wire and brackets on your teeth. Invisible braces are an aesthetic and barely visible alternative for the conventional braces. Invisible braces are not suitable for all kinds of traditional orthodontic problems but it may be used to correct:
- Overbite or overjet
- Crowded or widely spaced teeth
- Crooked teeth
There are many kinds of invisible braces techniques available at URS Dental including Ceramic braces, inside braces and clear aligners. Unlike the conventional braces where the brackets are made up of metal, in ceramic braces the brackets are made up of ceramic material that matches the tooth tone and makes the braces unnoticeable. Ceramic braces are hard to notice but are not truly invisible.
Inside braces are attached to the back of the teeth. With the help of scanned images of the insides of your teeth we design a computer guided custom braces which will be attached to the inside of your teeth. This makes them virtually invisible. Our expert orthodontists design these braces using a computer so that it causes no discomfort and doesn’t affect your speech and smile attributes.
Clear Aligners are clear, removable aligners custom-fit to your teeth to provide virtually irritation-free treatment with minimal adjustment and discomfort. Clear aligners are invisible, minimally invasive and resistant to wear and tear. With clear aligners, there are no brackets or wires and can be removed for eating, drinking and special events, making it easier to brush and floss.
The duration of these braces depends on the intensity of the damage and typically a bit longer than the conventional braces. Since conventional braces are made from hard metal materials it is comparatively easy to move the teeth to desired location. The average time required to invisible braces to accomplish the task is 18 to 24 months.
